Summary/Objective

The NA Product Manager oversees the development and launch of all new products for the U.S. market, working cross functionally with the R&D, production, and purchasing departments in the U.K. offices. Responsible for the planning, development and implementation of U-POL U.S.’ marketing strategies and communications. Directs the efforts of the U.S. marketing/product management staff.

Functions

  • Manage U-POL US new product life cycle from concept to launch which includes coordinating field trials, evaluating results of the field trials, developing technical data sheets, creating part numbers, creating the bill of materials, developing the marketing strategy and collateral, developing educational material to educate the U-POL sales team and customer base.
  • Oversee the development of private label products, liaising with customers throughout the development process. Put together pricing programs that achieve significant margins based on yearly forecast and production costs.
  • Manage the US private labeling project for private label customers including purchasing labels and monitoring label inventory, creating and posting works orders once labeling production has been fulfilled.
  • Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of all marketing activities for U-POL US including creating and updating collateral, updating the U-POL website, email marketing, working with the National Training Manager to coordinate new YouTube training videos, etc.
  • Develop marketing plan and budget, manage the productivity of the marketing plan and deliver on marketing activities within agreed upon budget.
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts to understand their product and marketing needs
  • Pull reports and monitor product KPI’s (unit sales, dollar sales, margins, ASP) and make recommendations based on your findings.
  • Manage social media accounts; YouTube and RAPTOR Facebook.
  • Provide sales support.
