We have a career building opportunity for two Regional Sales Manager in our Sales Department which will report to and support the Director of Sales. These positions will be located in the South East and the North East/Mid West. These positions will be home based and require up to 70% travel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
1. Achieving Quotas/Objectives
- Achieve sales/purchase quotas on all applicable product lines.
- Achieve assigned quota.
- Implement a quarterly sales plan with the help and/or approval of management.
- Operate within sales expenses guidelines.
2. Customer and Company Relations/Sales and Marketing Activities
- Fully and quickly address customer sales and service questions/needs.
- Routinely contact and visit your assigned customers portfolio to foster improved communications.
- Promote and assist in training of store personnel on applicable product lines.
- Implement and promote all sales and training programs. Ensure DC personnel and store personnel understand these programs through visits and meetings.
- Work to constantly improve your understanding of the stores business, market and customers.
- Provide accurate sales projections and utilize strategic planning to improve sales results.
- Use account book for sales planning and follow-up.
- Promptly communicate with the Director of Sales, keeping him/her advised of all sales activities.
- Create additional regional sales programs as needed.
- Actively solicit new warehouse distributors for our product categories.
